Can you remold centralizers you didn't originally manufacture?
Often, yes. Customer-owned bodies are evaluated for profile compatibility, insert condition, mold availability, dimensional requirements, and bond preparation. Acceptance is confirmed after review.
How many times can a centralizer be remolded?
There is no responsible universal answer. Eligibility depends on the condition of the metal insert, not the number of prior cycles: overall length, shoulder condition, bonding geometry, corrosion, erosion, deformation, and prior damage all count.
Can you manufacture a completely new centralizer?
Yes. From a drawing, a 3D model, a sample, a customer-owned insert, or basic dimensions. We evaluate the insert, profile, mold requirements, elastomer selection, and repeat-production plan.
What outside diameters are available?
Multiple standard and customer-specific diameters, with molding capability up to 5.0" OD. Availability depends on profile, existing mold inventory, insert geometry, and material system.
Are colored centralizers painted?
No. Color is pigmented into the elastomer and molded through the rubber. It is not a surface coating.
Can you match an exact customer color?
We can evaluate brand colors. Final approval may require a physical sample, a minimum batch, and compound testing. Screen colors are not a production standard.
Is HyperHeat™ always the better choice?
No. HyperHeat™ is for applications that need a higher-temperature platform. The Advanced Series remains the correct, more practical choice for most standard drilling programs.
Can HyperHeat™ centralizers be remolded?
Case by case, depending on insert condition, profile, material identification, and requirement. HyperHeat™ remolding is kept segregated from standard-compound remolding and must be specified at order entry.
Can you make fin cutters?
Yes. Our machining division supports fin cutters and related MWD components based on connection, required retrieval diameter, and your configuration.
